About Laura

I’ll Hold Your Hand

I am a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister and a friend. I am just like you. And like you, I understand the importance of continuous nurturing support before, during and after the birth of your baby. This will be the happiest, saddest, most stressful and loving time in your life and you will have questions and concerns. As your doula, I am here to guide, connect, touch and love. I will hold your hand, lift you up during the most intimate journey of your life.

Every. Single. Time.

My beautiful family

I am the doula you need and want. I am the doula who has suffered many miscarriages, had an epidural with my first son (which is totally okay), struggled with breastfeeding, cried a lot during the postpartum period, loved and hated pregnancy and motherhood. I am the doula who understands. I knows your fears and I will be there to lift you up. Every. Single. Time.

I Will Hold You Tight

After you are supported by a doula, you will feel an overwhelming connection of love, support and kindness. We are not just friends, we bonded together by your beautiful birthing journey. You will have questions that I will kindly explain. You will have struggles that I will gently guide you through. You will question your abilities every second, but I will lift you up and hold you tight. I will wipe your tears, touch away your aches and hug away your pain. I am easy to talk to and not afraid to stand up for your decisions. It would be an honour to stand by your side and be apart of the best and worst days of your life.

This is Me

I am currently in school to become a License Practical Nurse and working to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Lactation is a skill in which technical expertise can be taught, but passion cannot.

I have three wonderful boys who keep me very busy. I live in the beautiful community of Prospect, where I grew up and I enjoy spending time with my mommy friends, working out, baking, walking and sipping wine with my husband which should happen more often. I love being a mother, wife, friend and doula. I am finally doing what makes me most happy in life.
